Paid annual memberships receive preferential attendance at many of our events, so be sure to join or renew each year.

Membership payments are handled through the statewide NPSO website. A portion of every membership fee comes back to the High Desert Chapter to support local programs, events, and outreach.

Membership Benefits

Chapters host guest speakers, workshops, field trips, and educational programs throughout the year. Members may also attend the annual NPSO meeting hosted by different chapters across Oregon.

Your membership also includes the High Desert Chapter monthly electronic newsletter Bitterbrush Bulletin.

  • The High Desert Chapter is open to anyone with an interest in native plants and flora in Central Oregon.
  • Membership follows the calendar year and must be renewed annually.
  • The state NPSO requires each chapter to maintain at least 10 paid memberships to remain active.
  • Membership dues help fund speakers, workshops, field trips, and special chapter projects.
